Combine the “true story” kick with listening to After Steve: How Apple Became a Trillion-Dollar Company and Lost its Soul (thanks, Jason & Myke) and I’m watching the Steve Jobs movies again. Much different approaches to storytelling to be sure. But such a fascinating character and person.

I’ve found myself on a “true story” movie kick lately. First “Blackerry” and then “Tetris”. I remember how much I absolutely loved my BlackBerry at the time. But the movie had a scene where the creator was indignant that anyone would want a phone w/o a keyboard. He was a visionary. Until he wasn’t.

It’s been a minute since I posted online. Here or anywhere else. I don’t regret it, don’t feel bad about it. Life has been complicated, it has been just plain rough. But, I also want to restart more normal. It’s a process, has been a process. But it’s also good. Fingers crossed.

Well. I thought it may never happen. But not so fast. First time reporting for Jury Duty this morning. It was all the things I’d heard. Traffic was ridiculous trying to get there. Apparently a lot of folks trying to get into one deck really slows things down. But all in all not terrible so far.

Gotta love Josh
The West Wing is probably my favorite show of all time. Hands down. And I would vote for Bartlet tomorrow if, you know, he was real. But there is a plot hole we have to discuss. Josh is trouble in the first very episode. And Bartlet is very clear to never do that again. And we spend the next seven seasons with him doing the same type of things over and over again.

Until going back thru it on streaming, I never realized how many episodes were in the first season of TOS.

I’ve found myself in the middle of a Star Trek: TOS rewatch. Discovery hooked me. Managed to watch it twice now. Found myself having to go back to where it all began. I bet I’m going to end up watching the whole universe in order over time.
